Biography
Started: He first tried cycling at age two, and took up Para cycling in 2015. (blogger.com, 17 Dec 2015; cycling-info.sk, 04 Aug 2015) Reason: He competed in mountain bike and road cycling, as well as winter triathlon, before his accident in 2005. He returned to non-Para cycling, but another fall in 2014 led to him taking up Para cycling the following year. (cycling-info.sk, 04 Aug 2015) Awards: He and table tennis player Alena Kanova were Slovakia's flag bearers at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.
