Biography
Started: He took up archery at age 14 in 2014 in Svit, Slovakia. (Athlete, 30 Aug 2024; poprad.dnes24.sk, 01 Mar 2015) Reason: A coach from the local club visited his school and noticed his potential. Before taking up Para archery he practised hockey. "Unfortunately, my health condition did not allow me to devote myself to hockey. I have been watching archery with my parents for a long time. We knew that there was an archery club in Kezmarok [Slovakia], and when coach Ivan Simo asked me to join to the LK Lukostrelba Svit club, we did not hesitate for a moment." (poprad.dnes24.sk, 01 Mar 2015) Ambition: To compete at the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. (Athlete, 30 Aug 2024) Awards: He was named Best Para Athlete for 2023 by the Slovak Sports Association for the Disabled [SZTPS]. (SZTPS Facebook page, 29 Feb 2024)
