Biography
Started: He took up the sport in 2006 in Denmark. (Athlete, 06 Sep 2015)
Reason: "Growing up my biggest dream was to become a football player. When I was eight years old, in 1992, the Danish team won the European championships and I spent all my free time kicking a ball. Although my body isn't compatible with the sport I still managed to play at my local club for five years and had a fantastic time. As I got older I realised that I probably wouldn't make the national team so I started playing table tennis and it took off from there." (foraricherlife.com, 01 Jun 2020)
Ambition: To win a gold medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. (paralympic.org, 23 Apr 2023)

Additional Info: TV HOST
In 2022 he hosted 'Rosenmeiers rejse' [Rosenmeier's Journey] on Danish television, where he went to Uganda, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates to meet people and athletes with an impairment. He has also hosted an online talk show inspired by British TV programme 'The Last Leg'. The show aimed to showcase Denmark's top athletes, as well as change perceptions surrounding impairments. He plans to focus on being a TV host after retiring from competitive sport. "In the best of worlds, it will be a programme that doesn't have anything to do with disabilities. [I want to show that] it doesn't matter how you look or what your appearance is as long you want it enough and you fight for it. That's my mission." OTHER ACTIVITIES
In 2022 he began working as recruitment manager for the Rising Stars, a development programme for children with an impairment launched by Parasport Danmark in 2018. "These are children who can very easily be excluded from their communities on a daily basis. That's why it's really important to have a place where your impairment doesn't matter. And then it is a bonus if they are really talented and maybe even become world stars."
