Started: He took up the sport at age nine. (Athlete, 25 Aug 2021) Reason: "My brother practised athletics and I often accompanied him to attend his training sessions. This is where my passion for the discipline began. So I wasn't planning to become a professional athlete, it was only a hobby that developed into a profession. I really liked watching the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, which encouraged me to become an athlete and represent my country."
