Sporting Relatives: Her father Miroslaw Maliszewski has represented Poland in Para powerlifting and Para athletics at international level. In powerlifting he won two Paralympic medals, gold in 1988 in Seoul, and bronze in Barcelona in 1992. In Seoul he also won two bronze medals in Para athletics, in discus and javelin.
