Biography

Reason: Doctors suggested she try swimming as rehabilitation for a spinal problem she was experiencing. "As a little girl I did not like my classes with a physiotherapist, so another idea for strengthening and correcting posture defects was to try swimming classes. After I found individual swimming lessons, by the third grade of primary school I had mastered the skills of different swimming styles."
