Biography
Started: He began swimming at primary school. He entered his first Para swimming competition in 2004. (sport.interia.pl, 13 Sep 2013)
Reason: Swimming was part of his rehabilitation. Being in the water makes him feel free and helps him forget about problems in his life. "At first I trained in wheelchair fencing and treated swimming as rehabilitation. The trainers saw that I was very buoyant. When I went into the water I floated very well. Thanks to their advice, I changed my discipline to swimming. It is my greatest passion. Practising this sport is an opportunity to constantly face new challenges.
