Biography
Started: She began shooting at age 23 in Szeged, Hungary. (Athlete, 08 Feb 2012)
Reason: "I was interested in shooting from childhood but I only had the chance to visit a shooting range as an adult. It was just a hobby until I met my coach, who convinced me to spend more time training and competing. Milestones: She won Hungary's first shooting Para sport medal at the Paralympic Games when she claimed bronze in the women's SH1 10m air pistol event at the 2020 Games in Tokyo. (SportsDeskOnline, 21 Jul 2024)
Awards: In 2021 she was named Female Athlete of the Year by the Hungarian Shooting Federation [MSSZ]. She was also named Female Athlete of the Year for 2021 by the Budapesti Honved Sportegyesulet [BHSE] club. She had open heart surgery in February 2015, and was back shooting again by June of the same year. "My goal for the first half of the year was to regain my physical strength and adapt to my new circumstances.
