Reason: He chose to pursue athletics after having some success in the sport while he was at school. "My teacher brought me out on the field and that's how I got to know my coach [Gyula Szikora]. I fell in love with the training and my colleagues, and the more I trained, the more I improved with shot put. Meanwhile my coach helped me improve, both in the shot put and in weightlifting."
