Reason: She had an interest in sport from an early age and tried boccia, swimming and horse riding before turning her focus to table tennis. "I have always wanted to achieve something, and I found I could do that with table tennis. I started playing table tennis seriously after I was spotted by a disability table tennis coach during a school visit. At the time, my dad wasn't sure if it was the sport for me as he thought my coordination and movement would work against me. In fact, table tennis has helped to really improve me."
