Biography
Started: She and her twin sister Scarlett attended their first British Blind Sport gala in 2015. (Instagram team page, 20 May 2024) Reason: Her parents wanted her and her twin sister Scarlett to learn how to swim for safety reasons. "A lot of sports need to be heavily adapted and aren't as accessible. In swimming, you're in a lane, so you can't really go anywhere. It's a life skill, too." (mirror.co.uk, 31 May 2024) Ambition: To compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. (northamptonshiresport.org, 28 May 2024) Additional Info: TWINS AND TEAMMATES Her twin sister Scarlett also represents Great Britain in Para swimming. "This [the Paralympic Games] is the biggest competition in swimming and to do it together is very special. Hopefully to compete maybe in the same race [at the 2024 Games in Paris], that will be very special to both of us. We'll have a lot of fun while also hopefully swimming hard and fast as a result," said Eliza. (mirror.co.uk, 31 May 2024; northamptonshiresport.org, 28 May 2024)

Sporting Relatives: Her twin sister Scarlett has represented Great Britain in Para swimming. She won a bronze medal in the mixed 49 points 4x100m freestyle relay at the 2022 World Championships in Madeira, Portugal. (SportsDeskOnline, 04 Jun 2024; northamptonshiresport.org, 28 May 2024)
