Reason: He borrowed a mountain bike from a friend after he was no longer able to play rugby or football. A friend later encouraged him to attend a British Cycling talent ID day in 2016. "Mountain biking was just something I did all the way through university, and I never even thought about Para sport as an option. Cycling has been a huge changer in my life."
