Reason: He had a chance meeting at a motorway service station with British wheelchair basketball player Sinclair Thomas, who suggested he try the sport. "I honestly had never played basketball in my life before I met him [Thomas]. At the service station he asked me, 'Have you ever played wheelchair basketball before?' I didn't even know what it was.
