Reason: Originally involved in football and karate, she discovered table tennis when on holiday in Greece at age 12. After returning home to Germany she joined the 3B Berlin club, where German Disabled Sports Association [DBS] coach Christian Bode spotted her talent and encouraged her to get involved in Para table tennis.
