After winning silver in wheelchair basketball at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, she took up wheelchair racing and competed at the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships in London, England. In 2019 she switched sports again due to injury, turning her focus to Para cycling. "When I quit basketball after playing 382 games with the national team in 2016, I tried my hand at the athletics discipline of wheelchair racing. Due to bad luck with injuries, I had to stop and switched to the increasingly popular handbike. In this sport I can maintain my muscular strength in my arms and upper body."
