Biography
Started: "When I was three-and-a-half my parents took me to therapeutical riding, and when I was six I started vaulting. I was 11 when I started getting real riding lessons from Austrian Brigitte Grieser, who is a very good trainer and very selective about her students. One day Mrs. Grieser suggested that I compete in a Para competition around the corner and when I phoned the office I found out it was the national championships of Austria. I rode there as my first Para show." (eurodressage.com, 25 Jun 2023; kleinezeitung.at, 18 Aug 2021) Reason: Riding was part of her physiotherapy. "This therapy was important to me, also for self-confidence. You learn that you can do the seemingly impossible." (kleinezeitung.at, 18 Aug 2021; heinzhufnagel.at, 01 Mar 2020) Ambition: To compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. (Instagram profile, 31 Jul 2022) Awards: In March 2022 she received a special recognition award from the Carinthian Association for Horse Riding in recognition of her achievements in 2021.
