Started: He took up Para athletics in 2020. "After that [his amputation], I was in the rehabilitation centre for 13 weeks and had to learn to walk with a prosthesis. I was finally able to do sports again. Just a month after my amputation, I took part in the javelin and shot put at a state championship for Para sports in Vienna."
