Started: He began Para cycling in 2021. (usparacycling.org, 07 Jun 2024) Reason: He previously competed in Para athletics. After a back injury his doctor suggested he switch to swimming or cycling. "I'm just going to ride a bike and then see where it goes. I don't think I really have a favourite [out of road and track]. I think I just like riding bikes fast. I think I'm still figuring out how much I necessarily like or love cycling. Right now I do really enjoy cycling just because of the people. Obviously, I get to live in the Springs [Colorado Springs] and get to travel for the sport. So that part is fun for me."
