Started: He took up Para table tennis in 2008 and switched to Para athletics in his early thirties after returning to his hometown of Zlatibor, Serbia. "I have been an athlete since I was young and after my injury I was just looking for a sport that I could continue to train in as a person with a disability. After speaking with people in a similar situation, I decided to play table tennis." He switched to Para athletics after family and work responsibilities meant he moved back to Zlatibor, Serbia.
