Reason: "At first I started playing basketball but the club where I trained was in Abruzzo, which was a long way to go back and forth many times a week. Then I met one of the instructors from the Accademia della Scherma Fermo, who told me about their Paralympic activities. The spark was lit and my love for the sport exploded."
