This desire of mine not to give up made me understand that sport would help me face my problems, and so I took up handcycling. Initially I just did it in order to discover nature, exploring the mountains, and savouring being active again. But as time went on I realised that this was not enough, I wanted more, and so I became an athlete in this sport."
