I was close to quitting when the opportunity came, and I found the right coach and the right environment and said, 'Okay, I'm ready to do this'." "I was so surprised and so excited to see someone that looked like me in a book. Then I realised it was me, and that made it even better. It was cool to know that I was going to be featured in a book and that other kids would see someone that looks like them. My hope is that as my mum expands the series, it will reach more people. When children read these books, I hope they learn that we are all different, but we are all the same." She has performed acting roles on science fiction television show 'Circuit Breakers' and Canadian teen drama 'The Next Step'. "I'm so grateful that dancing has been a part of my life for this long. I've always wanted to act. I really love that you can be different people, you can play different characters. I love how hard it is. Acting is not easy, but it's so fulfilling at the end of the day. I love the experiences you have on set and I love the aspect of seeing yourself on the big screen. That's always where I want to be."
