Reason: He began incorporating cycling into his wheelchair basketball training during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. He went on to win a mountain bike race and was noticed by Cycling Canada. "Cycling was always a secondary passion of mine when I was playing hockey, before my injury. I began cycling to supplement my basketball fitness.
