Reason: She wanted to follow in the footsteps of her mother Robbi Weldon, who represented Canada in Para cycling and Para Nordic skiing. "My mum is a four-time Paralympian and I have been exposed to that world. My mum had a big impact on me. I went to the London 2012 Paralympics and was able to watch her win the gold medal.
