Reason: She was quiet and shy as a young child, so her parents signed her up for a swimming club to help build her confidence. "I found out that I have been living with a neurological condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. I started losing a little bit of feeling in my hands and then also experienced some weakness and numbness.
