(athabascau.ca, 10 Jan 2024) OTHER ACTIVITIES She has served as a board member of the Alberta Society for the Visually Impaired [ASVI] in Canada, and as honorary chair of Sight Night Edmonton 2016, an after-dark charity fun run. "ASVI has had a major impact on my life, whether it be the family support, interaction and advocacy throughout my personal and educational journey. ASVI has provided equipment, programmes and many amazing opportunities that have helped me become the person I am today. I am so incredibly happy and thankful to be on this board and give back to this amazing organisation."
