Biography
Started: He was introduced to wheelchair rugby in September 2014. (wheelchairrugby.ca, 01 Sep 2017)
Reason: He enjoyed the physical and tactical aspects of the sport. "At the hospital during my recovery my ergo therapist talked to me about the possibility of playing wheelchair rugby. She already knew about [Canadian wheelchair rugby player] Zak Madell and we watched some games on YouTube. I told her, 'I've got to try that!' When I got out of the hospital, I was sent to a readaptation centre, and they brought me to a practice and I instantly fell in love with the sport."
