Started: She began playing boccia in 2010 in Suzano, Brazil. She was at the mall with her mother, when a coach from the club Industry Social Service [SESI] approached and asked if she knew about boccia and other Para sports offered by the club. (cpb.org.br, 01 Jun 2019)
