Biography
Started: He became aware of Paralympic sport after going on a school trip to watch the 2007 Parapan American Games in Rio de Janeiro. He was then encouraged to join the ANDEF club in Niteroi. He started playing football seven-a-side, and stayed in the sport until 2015 when he decided to take up athletics. (cpb.org.br, 01 Nov 2019)
