Reason: She swam as a child but stopped for several years before being invited to try Para swimming at age 16. "As I had stopped training I was not sure how it would go, but I later discovered that I could have success in Para swimming. My life changed when I joined Para sport. People understood me there. They would never say, 'Ana, you cannot do it'. It was quite the opposite. They always believed in me, [and said] that I could do anything I wanted."
