Biography
Started: She began Para athletics after she attended a Wheelchair Sports New South Wales 'Come and Try' day in 2003. She took up shot put in 2018. (arafuragames.nt.gov.au, 29 Apr 2019; paralympic.org.au, 01 Jan 2016) Additional Info: WHEELCHAIR RACING AND SHOT PUT Having competed in wheelchair racing at the 2012 and 2016 editions of the Paralympic Games, she competed in shot put at the 2020 Games in Tokyo. She has since returned to competing in wheelchair racing as well as shot put, representing Australia in both disciplines at the 2023 World Championships in Paris, France, where she won bronze in the F32 shot put. "I'm tall, 6ft 2in, so I'm good at a lot of sports. I'm also a firm believer in perseverance."
