Biography
Started: He began playing wheelchair basketball in 1999 at age 10 in Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia. (Athlete, 10 May 2016)
Reason: "Being able to play sport has been the best thing that could have happened. I started off swimming for my rehabilitation and fitness. That's where I got my strength. I was swimming before I had the accident, and it was still my major sport after the operation. I stayed with swimming until I was about 12. I broke a few records but swimming became too repetitive for me. The idea of a team sport was just what I wanted." (smh.com.au 06 May 2007)
Awards: He was named Most Valuable Player [MVP] in the final of the 2024 Asia Oceania Zone Championships in Thailand. (australia.basketball, 22 Jan 2024)
