Started: He began fencing at age six and took up wheelchair fencing in 2013. (Athlete, 16 Aug 2021) Ambition: To win a gold medal at the Paralympic Games. (Athlete, 22 Aug 2021) Milestones: He was part of the first Ukrainian wheelchair fencing team to win a gold medal in team epee at the European championships when they claimed the men's title at the 2024 edition of the tournament in Paris, France.
