  • Daughter of Calvin and Priscilla Williams. Has five sisters, Amaya, LaShicka, LaShunda, LaTasha and Shernika, and two brothers, Calvin and Derrick
  • Born without her lower left arm
  • Has participated in track and field since first grade when she was in a youth track program and immediately took a liking to the jumping events
  • Played basketball and competed in track and field in high school, qualifying for the state track meet as a sophomore and taking her team to the state tournament in basketball
  • Introduced to Paralympic track and field after she was identified by an official in April 2016, who spoke to her coach about opportunities with U.S. Paralympics Track & Field.
