- Adicoff has been a cross-country skier since he was in the second grade
- He was initially introduced to the sport in 2002 through the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation’s Junior Nordic Development team
- Adicoff, who is legally blind after incurring chicken pox in utero, has experience in both alpine and Nordic skiing
- Adicoff has spent most of his competitive career racing in an able-bodied field, having competed in two junior national championships in 2011 and 2013. It wasn’t until the made the 2013-14 U.S. Paralympics Nordic Skiing National Team that he fully shifted his focus to Sochi and the Paralympic Winter Games
- He is a recipient of the 2011 U.S. Ski and Snowboard Dave Quinn Award, which honors athletes who exemplify the ideals of cross-country skiing, including a love of the sport, a strong work ethic, and overcoming hardship
