- She began swimming competitively with St. Croix Swim Club at age 11
- She started Paralympic swimming at age 12 and competed in her first Can-Am Open later that year in Bismarck, North Dakota
- She achieved her first emerging time standard in Charlotte, North Carolina at the 2016 Paralympic Trials
