- Retired from the U.S. Army in 2011 and one year later was involved in an auto accident
- She sustained neck and back fusions, as well as a traumatic brain injury as the result of numerous deployments and an automobile acciden
- In 2014, she started recumbent cycling as a way to heal, both physically and mentally, and was introduced to the trike in 2015
- One year later, she was invited to her first Para-cycling camp at the Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Started racing internationally in 2017 and rose to the top of the international rankings following her first world championships
- Since then, she has competed at multiple world championships and continues to improve on the national and international levels
- Daughter of Margot Sereda
- Has one sister, Chris, and one brother, Eric
- Hobbies include playing with her service dog, Biscuit, relaxing on the beach and DIY projects.
