Suffered an incomplete spinal cord injury (T4/5) after being involved in a tractor accident
Always loved sports growing up and competed primarily against his able-bodied friends
- Began playing wheelchair basketball after attending a summer camp at age 11 at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
- Loves throwing an ultimate disc or a football and has recently picked up wheelchair lacrosse
- Hobbies include deer and turkey hunting, fishing, trivia, watching movies and spending time with his nieces.
