- Daughter of Don and Lori Dederick and has five siblings - Caleb, Courtney, Heather, Jonathan and Stephen
- Born with spina bifida
- Abandoned at the steps of a hospital in Suzhou, China and adopted from an orphanage by a volunteer from the United States, Lori.
- Known as “Princess” in her orphanage
- Learned about wheelchair track in 2015 through Shriners Children’s Hospital, which connected her with ParaSport Spokane
- Hobbies include photography, traveling, watching movies, listening to music and playing with animals
- Also plays wheelchair basketball
