- Sibayan started competing with the U.S. Paralympic Soccer Team in 2010. He joined the U.S. Army in 2005, and worked as a military policeman and toured in Iraq. He medically retired as a staff sergeant in 2011. Sibayan, a Colorado native, has always been involved in sports. In high school, he competed in swimming, soccer, baseball, cross country and wrestling
