- Parents are Charles and Elizabeth Schieck. Brothers are Thomas and Alexander Schieck, and sister is Abigail Schieck
- Due to complications at birth, she suffered nerve damage which affected her left shoulder/arm. As a result, her arm does not straighten, fully rotate, or go behind her back. It is called a brachial plexus injury
- Began playing volleyball when she was 7 years old and started sitting volleyball in 2017
- Plays standing volleyball with Precision Athletics Volleyball Club in Mooresville, N.C.
- Passionate about community service
- Hobbies include watching movies, TV shows, photography and psychology
