- Daughter of Dr. Jim and Dr. Arlene Mathewson
- Contracted a rare neurological disease known as Transverse Myelitis at 10 years old. It affects the spinal cord and causes the immune system to attack a very low region of the back
- Credits her mom for getting her into sports, who drove her to various sports camps, while she admitted to screaming all the way, only to find herself two hours later with a huge smile on her face.
- Went to college on a tennis scholarship at the University of Arizona, where she played and completed a bachelors and graduate degree
Worked towards a clinical doctorate degree in audiology
Hobbies include baking, crafting, traveling, anything active/competitive, escape rooms and watching Netflix.
