- Jung was born with cerebral palsy on his left side but was always an active kid after his parents introduced him to multiple sports
- He got into cycling his senior year of college when he and a friend decided to get road bikes and had been riding for a year before finding the Paralympics
- Lives with his wife, Evelyn, and daughter, Emi, and their dog, Maple
- Enjoys hiking, reading, yoga, camping, and making smoothie bowls
- Very thankful to have the opportunity to race under U.S. colors and for the support of his mom, Kelly, and his dad, Brian, as well as his little brother and sister, Collin and Hannelore
- Credits that none of this would be possible for him without his friends and family.
