- Has one brother, Matt and one sister, Maura
- Began rowing as a walk on at the University of Rhode Island her freshman year then her coach introduced her to para-rowing
- Prior to rowing, she played lacrosse and ran cross country and track in high school
- At the University of Rhode Island, placed 21st in the varsity eight at the 2019 NCAA Women’s Rowing Championships and was a two-time varsity eight champion at the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships (2018, 2019)
- Nominated for the US Rowing Fan’s Choice Award in 2018 and was a NCAA Sportswoman of the Year Award nominee in 2019
- Received the Winifred Kearney Award for most outstanding female athlete at the University of Rhode Island in 2019
- Enjoys skiing, collecting fun socks, going to the beach, playing with dogs, and is a fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
