Started: She began training at age 17 in Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation. (Athlete, 04 Oct 2015) Reason: "I chose athletics because I liked running from childhood. It was with great pleasure that I took part in children's fun races, and then in city competitions. I immediately got excited about the sport and always wanted to be the first.
