Started: She began playing wheelchair basketball in 2007. (rolstoelbasketbal.nl, 25 Apr 2012 ) Reason: The coach of club JBC in Julianadorp, Netherlands, invited her to a training and after having joined the first team for one session, she decided to take up the sport.
