"With the 2024 Paralympic Games in mind, I was looking for the best way to balance the national team, my personal life, work and the club team. Of course I know [Dutch national teammate and 99ers player] Mustafa Korkmaz very well. We've been playing together since we were juniors in 2004-2005, so we have good chemistry. I'm looking forward to playing alongside some promising German juniors and some international veterans. The German league is considered one of the toughest in Europe, but I am sure we can cause a surprise."
