Reason: Previously a competitive speed skater, he took up Para cycling seriously after he was introduced to Dutch Para cyclist Daniel Abraham. "I met Daniel Abraham at a competition. Like me, he rode with able-bodied cyclists, but was also active in the Paralympic circuit because of his impairment.
