Reason: When she went to a wheelchair basketball tryout event, she met Para athletics coach Takayuki Shimoji, who encouraged her to get involved in the sport. "Wheelchair basketball was quite different to able-bodied basketball, so I had to start from scratch. Therefore, I thought that it would be good to try other sports.
