(TBS News, 12 Apr 2020) Milestones: At the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, his bronze medal in men's PTVI and his compatriot Hideki Uda's silver medal in men's PTS4 were Japan's first ever Para triathlon medals at the Paralympic Games.
